Integrative InSight Celebrates 2nd Anniversary by Opening 2nd Location

Integrative InSight, a Camarillo-based provider of Meditation courses, private Meditation Coaching and private Yoga Therapy sessions is celebrating its 2nd anniversary by opening a second location in Westlake Village. The business has offered its free and paid programs at venues, such as the Camarillo Health Care District, Camarillo Ranch House, and Camarillo United Methodist Church. Meenal Kelkar, owner of
Integrative InSight and Ventura County’s only Meditation Facilitator, is anticipating that her pragmatic approach to meditation will also resonate with Conejo Valley residents.

“We’ve all heard the adage, ‘Practice makes perfect’. Daily life provides plenty of practice at being stressed, anxious, tense, constricted, overwhelmed. What if you could practice a calm, open, assured, focused,
and clear state of being?”, said Kelkar when describing her services. “After working for 15 years in corporate finance, I know how difficult it can be to quiet an active mind and to incorporate meditation into a busy lifestyle. As a small business owner, the demands on my time have grown exponentially. I share techniques that work best for those in the same boat as me.” Clients find her approach to be practical, accessible and doable, and have reported side benefits like relief from anxiety, sleeplessness and high blood pressure. Katrina Garcia, president of KV@ Virtually Everywhere, a Thousand Oaks-based virtual assistant service, shares, “I’m finally able to relax and savor each moment thanks to Meenal’s meditation techniques. I’ve never really taken time for myself and to be still long enough to enjoy the wonders, smells, sounds, and tastes around me.”

Integrative Insight is Ventura County’s only provider of both private one-on-one Thai Yoga Therapy and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy sessions, which Kelkar describes as “1.5-2 hour sessions where you effortlessly experience being in the now, a technique known as mindfulness meditation. Even my “I can’t sit still” clients leave with the confidence that their minds can quiet down. Once that confidence is there, then the techniques that I teach through courses and coaching become easy to absorb and use.” Kelkar’s knowledge of meditation is derived from over 1,000 hours of training in these two modalities. Her training in Thai Yoga Therapy was with Venice-based, world-renowned master teacher, Saul David Raye.

“The ability to approach a difficult situation from a different perspective, to be able to listen to my instinct, or to fully focus on what a client is telling me are three invaluable, practical business skills that can be learned from meditation.”, concludes Kelkar. “Confidently knowing that you can do this any time, anyplace is what I hope to share with other business people.”
